Roblox remotes serialise their arguments generously, which is convenient and wasteful. For anything sent frequently, like replicating positions or input, that overhead becomes real bandwidth.
ByteNet lets you define packet shapes and sends them as buffers instead, typically cutting network traffic by a large factor. You get type inference on both ends.
Reach for this when your network graph in the dev console is the thing that is hurting.
