Charm is a state management library for Roblox that stores values in atoms and derives computed values from them. A developer reaches for it when UI and game state need to stay in sync without a chain of manual change events. Subscriptions run only for the atoms a listener actually reads, so updates stay local to the parts of the interface that changed. It is written in Luau with type annotations and works on both the client and the server.
