Jest Lua brings the Jest testing style to Luau, with describe, it, expect, beforeEach and mock functions. Teams use it when they want a familiar assertion API and test output that reads like the JavaScript tool they already know. It runs inside Roblox and in a command line runtime through its jsdotlua dependencies, so the same suite can run in CI. The repository includes its own test suite, and the matcher list is documented in the README.
